How was your weekend?? Mine was busy! I had to work Saturday morning and was off by 1, went to my hair appointment with my BFF (which you would think that would be relaxing)-well it wasn't. We had to wait for almost an hr!! Went to a local school and man, it took forever! Anyway, then ran to another store and picked out a few new things for our Anniversary night out. Went out with the hubs to celebrate 5 years!!! My BFF watched kiddos for us, so we got to eat and go to a movie ;) Sunday for me was spent napping and watching movies with hubs. With working two jobs, I was a bit run down. So, I got to NAP!!! Do you know how exciting that is to a mom?? NO? Well, if you ever have the chance to give a mom of young kids something, give her the gift of a nap!! Seriously, that is better than diamonds LOL
Today my beautiful baby girl is 6 months old! Hard to believe that 6 months ago, I was being rushed to a c-section and she was here just a little bit later. I love my kids so very much! Some days are really hard to be away from them, but I know I am doing what I have to for my family.

Friday!!!
It's Friday!!! But, that really doesn't mean much for me. :/ I work this weekend. At least I only work Saturday and not Sunday!! Our anniversary is coming up this week, and I think we might be celebrating!!! Probably just dinner and a movie or something.

Blargh
OK, so I just found a really new awesome blog....Why did that blog make me feel depressed. OH YEA, I am none of the things she was. Instead of finding it wonderful and oh hey, great ideas, I started to think...I suck. My house looked nothing like hers, I am not organized by any means, I am not "crafty." I had to shut it down. Remind myself, we are not all the same, we are not all created to be the same. Now, off to eat a cookie and then gripe at myself for eating that cookie.

Monday....
Today is a Monday, and so far....Not too bad. I woke up later than what I wanted, but not so late I was in too much of a rush. I didnt have time to dry my hair, but I had time to make sure my make up was alright, and just threw my hair into a clippy. Which, I think I found a clippy that is TOO big for my hair! If you know me, this is huge, LOL. Normally they are too small and they don't hold it all.
Anywho, enough about clippies ;)
So, because of events in our life, I am working two jobs. So, technically I have 3?? Mom work is never done. I am working as a temp for a company in Dallas, Down Town (is that one word or two, I don't know....so if you are a grammar popo, correct me!. Of an evening and on weekends, I am a newly trained Barista for Starbucks!! (I will do my certification on Saturday!!) I will have to say, this is one of the coolest jobs I have yet to have. Dude, coffee!!!! How exciting is that. Well, for me that is pretty flippen exciting LOL. I have had an amazing trainer, Brandon. This place does make me feel old. Out of everyone I have worked with over the past week, which is about 15ish people, I am the oldest. HARUMPH. But, it keeps me young right?? Blargh, not really. Makes me feel old and out of the loop HAHA. Even my manager is about 3-4 yrs younger than me. I do really like pretty much everybody that I have met this far.
OK, so enough about that. I guess my purpose of today is to say with all of the above, I feel very blessed. My husband lost his job (long story, not worth re-telling), and within about two week, I landed two jobs. I know it is hard right now, and I am trying to keep my head up above water. I wish that I had more time to spend with my hubby, and I kinda feel like even with my two jobs, I do spend more time with him than when he was working. But, I know that God has a plan for us. I don't know what that plan is, and don't know when he is going to reveal it to us, but I have faith that he will take care of us. There are a few negative things right now, but I am working with those and praying about them to know the right decision and go from there.
I hope you are having a blessed Monday, and if not...keep your head up, take a deep breath, and tomorrow will be here soon enough.

Raw
I wont go into details, but last nights events have left me feeling, well raw today. Today is one of those days that is a blank slate. It could go really bad or really good. I just don't have anything in me to give today. I am really tired, worn out and this is only week one. Maybe next week will be better?
I have noticed that since Brian and I have been going to Sagamore Baptist, I have been praying a lot more. I am very happy about that. I am working on making my connection with God stronger, and be there all the time. I don't know if that's where we will home, but for right now, it is fulfilling needs that we have.
Time for a milestone
Time to begin again
Reevaluate who I really am
Am I doing everything to follow Your will
Or just climbing aimlessly over these hills
So show me what it is You want from me
I give everything I surrender...
To...
I am praying that today turns into a really good day, and I hope and pray that you are having a really good day too. If not, take a moment, pray and give it over to him. He wants and needs you to need him.

Life, Life, Life
Well, this whole blog thing didn't stick too well. So I guess I will try my hand at it again. Let me just start with, I read and peruse a lot of other blogs. I see craftiness, and wittiness, and a lot of stuff I find fascinating, all of which I am not. SOOOO, with that said, you probably wont find much in the way of entertainment here ;) This is just me blabbing about our live. Which by the way has changed so much.
The last time I had written, we just found out we were pregnant.
She is the result of said pregnancy. Her name is Ryleigh and she is now almost 6 months old. She was a shock and a half to say the least. Never in a million years would I change that. She is so sweet and quite, but has a precious laugh and smile!
That crazy kid is our son. Who is now two and loves to drive mommy and daddy crazy. He has 2 volumes, loud and ear piercing loud LOL I am so thankful that Miss Bug can sleep through him. He is a maniac. Some people don't like that I call him insane, maniac, etc....but honestly without that, I would have no way to describe my kid. I love him to death, but he is sometimes the one thing that can push me over the edge.
This would be the munchkin, although she is not muchkinish anymore. She will be 20 this year. She is finishing up her first year of community college. She is beautiful, and a joy to be around (for the most part, but teenagers suck anyway). We are very proud of her, and know that she has come a long way with the loss she has faced in her short amount of years.

Our growing family!!
Well, it has been a really long time since I posted, and I hope to get better about it.
Declan just turned 1 on Feb. 1st!!!! Man does time fly. Briana is 18 and we are just a few months from her graduating High School!!! We also just learned that we are going to have one on the way!! This baby is set to arrive sometime in late September or early October!!!
